You also gain a shield that absorbs damage equal to 20% of your maximum Life for 3 seconds. While empowered, Annihilation deals increased damage. After nine long years, Blizzard finally introduced an entirely new class to the Diablo franchise: the Blood Knight! This is a completely new and original class since the Crusader was released in Diablo III: Reaper of Souls back in 2014.
